Robin joined Relay Investments in 2025. He joined after acquiring, leading as CEO, and successfully exiting the NCFDD, a company he sourced through the search fund model.
The NCFDD provided professional development solutions to universities and their faculty. During his seven years as CEO, the NCFDD grew from 50 to 350 university members, and scaled to 250 employees and contractors across the U.S. and Canada.
Previously, Robin spent 10-years in financial services, including at Goldman Sachs, Citigroup in New York and London. He started his career as a research assistant studying volcanoes in Antarctica.
Robin received an M.S. in Management from the Stanford GSB, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University. He received a high school diploma from Phillips Academy. He lives in Detroit, MI with his (future) wife, Jackie, 2 dogs - Max and Buster, and cat - Chaska.
